Temporary inboxes
Temporary addresses and emails are displayed for a limited period to show delivery results, not to build advertising profiles.
Privacy boundary
This notice explains when we receive data, how long we retain it, why we use it, and how you can delete or change it. Updated: September 12, 2026.
Temporary addresses and emails are displayed for a limited period to show delivery results, not to build advertising profiles.
Login email addresses are used for verification and forwarded mail; public aliases are kept separate from your real email address.
Required request times, statuses, and anomaly signals help us rate-limit traffic, troubleshoot issues, and prevent abuse.
You can replace a temporary address, delete emails, disable an alias, or contact support about account data requests.
Data ledger
We process data separately by function. The table below shows the usual boundaries; retention periods may be adjusted where required by law for legal matters, security investigations, or system recovery.
| Data category | Primary purpose | Typical retention | Your control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Temporary address and email body | Create an inbox and display the subject and body | While the address is active and through the necessary cleanup window | Delete emails or replace the address |
| Login email and verification-code status | Verify dashboard access and deliver forwarded emails | For as long as the account relationship exists | Log out, disable the route, or request deletion |
| Aliases and delivery records | Manage public entry points and show recent delivery results | Records are typically kept for no more than 30 days | Pause or delete the alias |
| Request and security logs | Rate limiting, error diagnosis, and abuse prevention | The short window needed for security purposes | Ask support about the applicable boundaries |
When you create a temporary address, receive email, request a verification code, or manage an alias, the system collects the data needed to complete that action. Email content is delivered by the sender; we will not ask you to submit identity documents, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive information in an email.
Your browser also sends standard technical information to establish a connection, such as the time, IP address, user agent, and request result. We use this only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, and do not sell it to data brokers.
Core processing provides temporary inboxes, verification-code login, alias management, and email forwarding at your request. Security logs help maintain service integrity, limit automated abuse, and investigate unusual deliveries affecting users.
Where applicable law requires consent, we will obtain it before processing and let you withdraw it. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully completed before then, but features that depend on that data may no longer work.
We may use infrastructure, email delivery, and security providers to process limited data, requiring them by contract to act only on our instructions. Data may be processed in the regions where those providers operate, with appropriate transfer safeguards.
Except when responding to valid legal requests, protecting user safety, or providing a service you explicitly requested, we will not disclose email content to unrelated third parties. We do not use temporary inbox content for targeted advertising.
We use access controls, encryption in transit, verification codes, and optional one-time codes to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, but no internet service is completely secure. Do not use a temporary email address as the sole way to store important files or recover a high-value account.
This service is not intended for children below the age set by applicable law. If this notice changes materially, we will update the date and provide notice in a reasonable location; review the changes before continuing to ensure the service remains suitable for your use.
You can delete emails, replace an address, or pause or delete an alias in the interface. For access, correction, restriction, or deletion requests that you cannot complete yourself, email us from the associated login address so we can reasonably verify the requester’s identity.
The contact address is support@relaytemp.com. We will respond within a reasonable period under applicable law and explain why we cannot fulfill any part of a request, along with available appeal channels.
